International cultural exchange is a standard procedure when one wishes to learn new strategies. Police departments are no different. London's Metropolitan Police Department has created such an affiliation with Boston, Massachusetts.
Patrick (Paddy) O'Shea is a newly-imported police detective, straight from Boston into the old-world. He is learning a great deal about London and finding his feet in an ever-changing climate. Well, mostly a rainy climate, but that is another story.
Paddy learns how to drive on the wrong side of the road, how to order food, and how to speak the local lingo. Dollars to Pounds, and left-handed shifting are not his highest priorities.
Paddy and his London contemporary and partner, Michael (Mick) Finnegan spend their days searching down the dangerous killers in one of the oldest cities in Western Europe while teaching Patrick O'Shea what he needs to know in order to survive the culture.
